(Dale Carnegie)
After about five years of growing, learning, and redefining "jason", I've moved on from SpringHill. I've said goodbye, or goodbye for now to a lot of people who have become important pieces of me and my journey. I'm continuing on the restless journey in which God has already been so faithful.
The hardest part? I don't know what's next. The other hardest part? All the questions that go with this life-change. For now, I cling to the promise that God has called me out of one place, to lead me to something better. In my time at SpringHill, I learned a lot about who I am, I learned to be confident in that person and realize that God created me purposefully. I've learned a lot about things I care about as well as some things i don't. I love seeing God move mountains, seeing dreams come true. That's one of the things about SpringHill that really captured me. For example, creating submarines for stage on an almost non-existent budget.
While I wait, pray, and look for the next big piece of the puzzle, I'm here in the greater Chicagoland area, looking for work, visiting old friends, and getting involved as much as possible in the joy of life around me. So feel free to come to Chicago, I've become a decent tour guide, and I love visitors! Until then, i appreciate your prayers for me, my family, and our(i mean ALL of us) struggle to be more Christlike with every day and to follow the path he has marked out for us.
peace,
jas
